Costume Details

Spirit Blossom Lillia has to be my most ambitious cosplay yet! I’ve never made anything close to this scale before, and going into the project I was very overwhelmed.

I was only able to create the centaur body using Ginny Di’s Centaurette tutorial. Full credit to her for this construction method, and I’d highly recommend checking out her own build post/progress in the link above. The main modification I made to her design is that I used proper hoof shoes for my own feet. I 3D-modelled hoof covers which I printed from blue transparent PLA, and inserted LED fairy lights inside them so they would light up. However, these shoes are very difficult to walk in, which made this costume very uncomfortable to wear.

Since I finished this costume in the middle of the pandemic, I sadly don’t have very many professional photos of it. I did however get to shoot a beautiful cinematic video with KROMA, which helped me win a Judge’s Choice award in the Ultimate Online Cosplay Championship in 2021.
